Prepare each face of an A-frame as a clearly labelled design. Even when the wording is similar, the direction or intended audience may be different on the other side.
Label the faces by their position
Use a location photo or a clear front-and-back reference. If one side directs people left and the other right, approve those directions from the actual approach. Do not duplicate the same arrow automatically. List how many copies of each design are required and whether the frame is included.
Check the visible area
Ask for the correct insert or panel dimensions and allow for clips, borders and any hidden edge. Keep the main message short enough to read at the intended distance. Use the final size when checking the layout; a small screen preview can make dense text look more acceptable than it will on the street.
Check changing details before print
Proofread dates, prices, opening hours and contact information. For a QR code, confirm the destination and test a print-size proof. Make sure artwork on both faces is upright when installed. Save the approved files under clear names so staff can order the correct replacement without recreating the layout.
