Start with the correct template
Send the selected cup reference and ask for its artwork layout before finishing the design. Different cup sizes need their own checks. Keep the supplied template at its intended scale and follow the printer’s bleed and safe-area instructions rather than transferring measurements from an unrelated cup.
Check the cup as a curved object
Review the logo position, reading direction and any wraparound text. Keep important information clear of the seam and other restricted areas shown in the template. If there are separate front and back messages, check both positions. A flat proof can make spacing look different from the finished cup.
Approve details at actual size
Print or review the artwork at the intended size to check small text, contact details and fine lines. Confirm spelling, colour references and the file version for every size. Ask what the proof or sample represents before approving it. Keep cup capacity, quantity, lid requirements and artwork versions together in the final order.
