Checking Destinations and Arrows Before Printing Signs

Checking Destinations and Arrows Before Printing Signs

Directional Signage

Approve each directional sign from the way a person will approach it. Checking the words and arrows only as a flat artwork sheet can miss errors in the physical route.

Use one destination list

Choose the exact name for each room or department and repeat it consistently. Check floor numbers and building names against the directory. If two languages are used, have both versions approved together and confirm that the layout keeps the relationship between each name and arrow clear.

Check every face independently

A panel visible from opposite directions may need different artwork on each side. Label front and back using a photo or location reference, not an assumption. Walk the intended route and check each turn. Do not copy an arrow from another panel just because it lists the same destination.

Review the proof against the location

Match the proof to the sign schedule and confirm orientation, mounting position and quantity. Avoid placing a directional arrow where it could be mistaken for a pointer to a different line. After fitting, walk the route again to check the installed sequence. Delivery and fitting should be agreed as separate parts of the order.

Plan your order

Directional Signage is available for customers across all of Dubai. Dubai delivery and delivery to Sharjah can be arranged with your order; ask us to confirm timing and charges.
