Step 1: Clean the Plate Area Thoroughly
Adhesive tape only holds properly on a clean, dry surface. Wipe down the area around the plate to remove dust, road grime and any wax or polish residue, and let it dry fully before continuing. Skipping this step is the most common reason an adhesive frame comes loose later.
Step 2: Dry-Fit the Frame First
