Choosing an Ice Stamp Size for Your Ice Cubes

Choosing an Ice Stamp Size for Your Ice Cubes

Measure the flat face of the ice you actually serve. The custom mark needs to fit inside that area with space around it, rather than matching the outside dimensions edge to edge.

Measure the usable flat surface

A cube may have bevelled edges or an uneven face that reduces the usable area. Measure several examples from your usual mould or supplier. If you serve more than one size, decide which should guide the stamp design.

Match the logo shape to the space

A wide wordmark may need a different arrangement from a compact symbol. Consider a simplified brand mark or initials when a full logo becomes crowded. Check the proof at the intended impression size, especially the smallest letters.

Think about the finished drink

The stamp should suit the ice face and the way the drink is presented. Try the usual cube in the glass before choosing the mark position. Avoid designing only from a large close-up photograph that makes small details seem easier to see.

Send a complete size brief

Share a photograph with measurements, the original artwork and the quantity of stamps needed. Mention the intended drinks-service use and ask for material suitability and care guidance. We can then assess a custom design against a real ice size.
