For a coaster set, define the number of pieces and designs before preparing the files. This avoids confusing the quantity of sets with the number of individual coasters.
Map the set
List each design and how many times it appears in one set. State the number of complete sets needed. For personalised gifts, identify which name or image belongs to each set and use matching filenames.
Check margins and orientation
Ask for the selected shape’s artwork dimensions and required margins. Keep text and important logo details away from the edge. For a square design, decide which edge is the top. If the image will be cropped into a circle, review the circular crop before approval.
Confirm the finished order
Check the material, backing, thickness and print treatment in the quote. Ask whether packaging or a holder is included, and confirm the care instructions for that coaster. Review every artwork version against the set list, then confirm production and delivery timing for the complete batch.
