Send the original vector logo when available, plus a preview showing how it should look. The production review needs both accurate shapes and a clear record of the intended design.
Keep the artwork complete
Include the exact spelling, selected font and all parts of the logo. If text is converted to outlines, retain an editable original for future revisions. A PDF can contain either vector shapes or a flat image, so its file extension alone does not confirm that the artwork is ready to cut.
Identify the smallest details
Point out dots, thin strokes, tight gaps and small words. Tell us the complete sign width and preferred depth so these can be checked at the actual size. Do not remove a logo element yourself just to simplify the file; agree any changes with the person responsible for the brand.
Approve the layout and mounting together
Check the spacing, letter order, alignment and overall dimensions in the production proof. Ask how the letters will be positioned on the surface and whether a fitting template is included. Keep the approved artwork and quotation together so the finished sign can be checked against the same specification.
