Have your site’s responsible person approve the safety sign schedule before requesting printing. The schedule should identify the required sign, where it belongs and the specification it must meet.
List each approved sign separately
Record a location reference, approved symbol or artwork, exact wording, size and quantity. Keep different designs on separate rows even when they have the same dimensions. Identify which version is final and who can approve changes. This guide is about preparing a print order, not selecting the safety measures for a site.
Describe the location and requirements
State whether the sign is indoors or outdoors and note relevant moisture, cleaning, exposure or mounting conditions. Provide any required material and visibility specification from the responsible safety or facilities team. If documented performance is required, include it in the enquiry so it can be checked before an order is accepted.
Approve production against the schedule
Check the proof for the correct symbol, wording, colours, size and location reference. Do not substitute a decorative icon for approved safety artwork or change its meaning to fit a layout. Confirm supply, delivery and fitting separately. Keep the approved schedule for receiving the print and checking it with the site team.
