Choose a hang tag background with the artwork in view. Kraft paper and a white stock can give the same logo a different appearance, especially when it contains pale colours or fine text.
Check contrast before choosing by appearance
Place the artwork against the intended background and inspect it at the finished tag size. Review small lettering, pale details and any code that must remain readable. Ask for the actual stock and print method to be confirmed; a digital colour preview is not a guarantee of the printed result.
Consider the information on both sides
A simple logo on one face may leave room for product details on the reverse. Keep hole position and attachment in the layout from the start. If the tag carries a price, size or barcode, review that information as carefully as the branding. Do not assume a decorative background will work for every element.
Approve the complete specification
Confirm the stock, dimensions, shape, printed sides and quantity per version. Identify strings or other attachments separately. Keep a sample or agreed reference for future reorders. A kraft appearance alone does not establish a recycled-content or recyclability claim; use only statements supported for the exact finished tag.
