Check Receipt Book Numbering Before a Reorder

Before reordering receipt books, confirm the last number used and the starting number for the new run. Keep numbering instructions in the same written specification as the artwork.

For print options and an order enquiry, visit Receipt Book Printing.

Check the current sequence

Inspect both used books and unused stock. Record the highest number already printed, not only the last receipt issued. If different teams use separate series, name the series and responsible team in the order.

Write the number format in full

Specify the prefix, number of digits and starting number, with an example. Ask the printer to confirm the ending number for the agreed run. Check how numbering appears across the original and copies.

Review changes to the form

Check company details, contact numbers and payment fields against current practice. Send a marked sample showing what stays and what changes. Confirm the book size, copy arrangement and quantity so a numbering correction does not conceal a layout mismatch.
