Replacing a Company Stamp After Your Details Change

Replacing a Company Stamp After Your Details Change

Before reordering a company stamp, decide which details have changed and where the old stamp is still being used. A clear replacement brief helps avoid producing another copy of outdated wording.

Make a short change list

Write the existing wording in one column and the replacement wording beside it. Flag changes to the company name, contact details or layout. Send the new wording as editable text with a photograph of the old impression. The photograph is a layout reference, not the source of the new text.

Check whether the old body is reusable

Photograph the model marking and the stamp from the front and side. Ask whether its condition and mechanism suit a replacement text plate, or whether a complete new stamp is needed. Do not assume all bodies accept the same plate or ink pad.

Count the copies used by the team

Check desks, reception, accounts and staff who carry a stamp. Record the quantity needed for each approved layout. Retire outdated stamps through your own internal process so two versions are not used accidentally.

Confirm the handover

Check the new proof, quantity and collection or delivery plan together. For delivery in Dubai or to Sharjah, provide the receiving contact and location. Keep the approved artwork for future orders and make a test impression before putting the replacement into daily use.
