Plan a gift box with all its contents in place. The arrangement, opening and packing method matter as much as the printed cover.
Build the gift before measuring it
Gather the actual items, including cards, wrapping and accessories. Place them in the arrangement you want the recipient to see. Record the dimensions and weight of the complete set. If an item may change before the event, flag it before a box size is approved.
Explain how the contents should stay in place
Show which items should be visible when the box opens and which need protection or separation. If you need an insert, ask for it to be specified and priced with the box. Confirm who will pack the gifts and whether assembly is included. A box-printing quote does not automatically include the items or packing work.
Separate presentation from transport
Tell the printer whether gifts will be handed over individually, stacked for collection or sent by courier. A presentation box may need an outer carton or protective packing. Review the whole packed gift before ordering a larger run, and allow time for approval and packing before the required delivery date.
