What to Send for an Accurate Digital Printing Quote

What to Send for an Accurate Digital Printing Quote

Send the print file with a short written specification. Quantity, finished size and finishing requirements help the printer quote the job without guessing from the document.

For print options and an order enquiry, visit Digital printing.

Describe each file

List the filename, page count and number of copies. State the intended finished size and whether pages should print on one or both sides. Tell the printer if different files should become one assembled document.

Specify paper and finishing

Mention the intended use and any preferred paper, binding, folding or lamination. If you do not have a specification, send a sample or explain how the print will be handled. Ask the printer to propose suitable options for confirmation.

Include the deadline and delivery

State the date you need to receive the finished work and the receiving area. Flag anything that still needs design changes. Confirm artwork approval, production timing and delivery charges in the quote before the job starts.
