Artwork File Checklist for Ordering Office Signage in Dubai

Artwork File Checklist for Ordering Office Signage in Dubai

Signage delays are rarely about production time — they are usually about artwork going back and forth before it is ready to cut or illuminate. This checklist covers what to have ready before you order.

1. A vector version of your logo

Acrylic cutting and backlit letters both start from clean outlines, so a vector file (AI, EPS, or a high-resolution layered PDF) is the ideal starting point. A logo pulled from your website or a screenshot from a slide deck is usually too low-resolution to cut or illuminate cleanly at sign size.

2. Your exact brand colours

If you have a Pantone (PMS) reference or brand guideline document, share it. Without it, colour matching is done by eye against a screen image, which is rarely identical to your printed materials.

3. The wall or space measurements

Measure the actual wall or door the sign is going on, not just the size you think looks right. This affects both how large the lettering can comfortably be and what mounting method will work on that surface.

4. What the wall is made of

Drywall, glass partitions, textured feature walls and painted concrete all take fixings differently. Mentioning the wall type upfront avoids finding out at installation that a different mounting method was needed.

5. Final wording, checked and approved internally

Confirm the exact text — company name, department name, or room label — with whoever owns that decision internally before ordering. Wording changes after a sign is cut mean starting that piece over.

6. Whether the sign needs to be removable

If you are in a leased space and may need to remove the sign without damaging the wall when you move out, say so before production. It changes which mounting method makes sense.

Once you have these six things ready, ordering is straightforward. See our full indoor office signage range, and if you are still deciding on a finish, read acrylic vs backlit vs cut-out letters.
