How to Choose the Right Indoor Sign for Every Room in Your Dubai Office

Most offices do not need one signage type, they need the right sign in each of four or five spots. Here is how to think about it room by room, based on the indoor signage we produce for Dubai offices.

Reception and main entrance

This is the one wall almost every visitor sees, so it is where acrylic or backlit signage earns its place. A backlit logo wall gives the strongest first impression; a flat acrylic panel is a simpler, still professional alternative if backlighting is not needed. See our acrylic wall signage and backlit 3D signage ranges.

Meeting rooms and departments

Meeting rooms rarely need illuminated signage; the goal is legibility and a tidy look, not maximum visual impact. Cut-out letters mounted directly to the wall or door work well here, since they are compact and easy to replace if a room is renamed later. See cut-out letter signboards.

Corridors and shared floors

Anywhere a visitor or new staff member has to decide which way to go, wayfinding signage does more for the business than branding does. Directional arrows and floor directories reduce the number of people stopping at reception to ask for directions. See wayfinding signage.

Temporary or transitional spaces

During a fit-out, an event, or a floor move, a freestanding A-frame sign is often more practical than a wall-mounted one, since it can be repositioned or removed once the transition is over. See A-frame signs.

A simple way to plan it

Walk the office as a first-time visitor would and note every point where you would naturally look for a sign: the entrance, the reception wall, each meeting room door, and any corridor junction. That list is usually a good first draft of what to order, and it is far more useful than deciding on one signage type and applying it everywhere.
