Moving into a new office, renovating a reception area, or fitting out a business centre floor all come with the same question: which indoor sign actually suits the room. DXBStamps produces acrylic wall signage, backlit 3D letters, cut-out letter signboards and wayfinding signs for businesses across Dubai, and this page is a practical guide to choosing between them rather than just a product list.
Indoor signage options we produce
Each format below suits a different part of an office, and most businesses end up combining two or three of them rather than using one signage type throughout the space.
Acrylic wall signage
Flat or standoff-mounted acrylic panels carrying your logo and company name, typically used on a reception feature wall or at a suite entrance. Acrylic is lightweight, holds sharp logo shapes well, and is available in clear, frosted or coloured finishes. See our acrylic wall signage collection.
Backlit 3D signage
Individual letters or a logo raised off the wall with illumination behind them, creating a halo-lit effect. Businesses tend to reserve this for a main reception wall, since it is the most visually prominent of the indoor formats. Browse backlit 3D signage.
Cut-out letter signboards
Individually cut acrylic or laser-cut letters mounted directly to the wall without a backing panel, giving a cleaner, more minimal look than a full sign panel. A popular choice for meeting room names, department labels, or a secondary logo wall. See cut-out letter signboards.
Directional and wayfinding signage
Floor directories, corridor arrows, and room-identification signs that help visitors and staff find their way around a floor or building without asking reception every time. This matters most in larger offices, shared business centres, and multi-tenant buildings. See wayfinding signage.
A-frame and sidewalk signs
Freestanding signs used inside a lobby or at a suite entrance for temporary messaging, such as directing visitors to a specific floor during an event or fit-out. See A-frame sign printing.
How to choose between them
As a starting point: use acrylic or backlit signage for the one wall visitors see first, cut-out letters for secondary areas like meeting rooms and departments, and wayfinding signage anywhere staff or visitors need directions rather than a brand statement. Our supporting guide below walks through this room by room.
Ordering and artwork guidance
Bring a vector version of your logo (AI, EPS or high-resolution PDF) where possible, since acrylic cutting and backlit letters both rely on clean outlines rather than a low-resolution logo pulled from a website. If you only have a raster logo, our team can advise on whether it needs to be redrawn before production. Confirm your Pantone or brand colour reference in advance if exact colour matching matters to you, and measure the wall or space before ordering so the sign is sized correctly for the room rather than for the wall in general.
Common mistakes to avoid
The most frequent issues we see are signs ordered without checking the actual wall material (some fixings do not suit glass partitions or textured finishes), logos submitted as blurry screenshots instead of source files, and wayfinding signage ordered as an afterthought once a fit-out is already finished, which usually means retrofitting rather than planning the sign into the space. Deciding on signage during the fit-out planning stage, rather than after, avoids all three.

Frequently asked questions
Do you install the signage as well as produce it?
Contact our team with your building and wall details and we will confirm what is possible for your specific site.
Can indoor signage be removed if we relocate?
This depends on the mounting method and wall surface. Standoff-mounted acrylic is generally easier to remove cleanly than adhesive-backed or backlit signage, so mention if you expect to relocate when you order.
What if I don't have a vector logo file?
Send us what you have. We will let you know whether it is usable as-is or needs to be redrawn before we cut or illuminate it.
Is wayfinding signage only for large offices?
No. Even a single-floor office benefits from basic directional signage once there is more than one meeting room, department, or shared facility to label.
